These per diem rates are set by the GSA and are used by Federal and local governments as well as many private-sector companies to reimburse employees for business travel expenses incurred within Cook County, Illinois (county borders are highlighted on the Illinois map).

Generally, you will be entitled to one Lodging per-diem of up to $212.00 to cover your actual hotel costs and one Meals & Incidentals per-diem payment of $74.00 to cover food and incidentals like parking costs for each full day of travel within Cook County. 75% of the normal M&IE per diem rates are generally issued for your first and last days of travel.
